About establishing a company
There are three types of corporations:
1. Trade name
2. Limited Liability Company
3. Corporation
There are three patterns for foreign corporations.
A police station (known as a police substation in Chinese) cannot enter into contracts with other individuals or corporations, but can handle liaison and other matters. There is no minimum capital requirement.
The branch office can make contracts on behalf of the head office, but the head office is responsible for the full amount. * The head office's articles of incorporation must be kept in Taiwan.
When creating a new local corporation , it is a limited company or a joint stock company, which has a limited investment amount, just like in Japan.

The company registration procedures are as follows:
1st Stage
1. Chouse 2-3 company names
2. Photocopy of the identity of the responsible person
3. Photocopy of the most recent house tax bill for the business address
4. Registered capital amount ___ million

2nd Stage

The company representative shall open a bank account in the company’s name, deposit the registered capital, and make a photocopy of the bank passbook.

Shareholders must personally sign the Shareholders’ Consent Form.

On the day following the capital deposit, apply to the bank for a Certificate of Deposit Balance.

Provide either a Property Owner’s Consent Letter or a copy of the lease agreement signed under the company’s name.
3rd Stage
Business Registration:
Within 7–14 days after submission, the responsible person must personally visit the National Taxation Bureau to sign the documents.
